Wood-ash is being generated in ever higher amounts in modern wood incineration plants. To find ways for returning the nutrients to the soils in an environmentally sound way is the main target of this project. 

Novel approaches for the use of wood ash are being investigated and optimized to avoid that they find their final place at waste dumps.
